Command a Fleet from the Captain's Chair
BattleGroupVR2 is a virtual reality real-time space strategy game where you sit on the bridge of your flagship and lead a fleet of warships. You explore a procedurally generated galaxy, mine asteroids, trade commodities, hunt pirates, and grow your fleet over time. Battles take place on a fully 3D space battlefield where you maneuver your forces, coordinate formations, and order precise attacks against intelligent enemies. You can command a range of starships, from nimble corvettes to devastating battleships, and equip them with weapons, shields, and support systems to match how you want to play. Recruit captains with their own tactical expertise to help turn the tide of a fight.
Playing Together
BattleGroupVR2 supports Online Co-op and Online PvP. In Conquest Mode, every player competes for dominance in a persistent galactic war. You expand your territory, fortify key sectors, and battle rival players' fleets in a dynamic, asynchronous multiplayer struggle for control. Your fleet keeps fighting even when you are offline, so the choices you make keep shaping the battlefield for everyone.
Before You Start
The game is in Early Access, so expect things to change as development continues. There are multiple distinct game modes to choose from: an Open World mode for exploring, mining, trading, and hunting; a Combat Gauntlet that pushes you through escalating challenges and high-risk missions for greater rewards; and the Conquest Mode described above. A Tutorial is available to help you learn the ropes. Since this is a VR title built around first-person command, you will be making tactical decisions in real time from the captain's chair rather than watching from above.
