A tag chain in Korean hell
Who's Next? is a free-for-all social deduction game for 4 to 10 players, set in a cartoon version of traditional Korean hell. Every player is linked in a linear chain, like a game of tag, and each person has a target they need to eliminate. Nobody knows their own target at the start, so the round is about working it out: complete tasks to gather clues, talk things over in the discussion phase, and figure out who is marked for you. Attack the wrong player and it backfires on you, so a wrong guess costs more than just a wasted turn. Last one standing wins.
Playing together in a group
Everyone plays for themselves, there are no teams, so your group is a pile of individual survivors rather than two sides. Real-time voice chat is built in, which is where most of the game happens: players trade information, bluff, and try to read each other during the discussion phase. Because the chain is shared, what you learn about your own position also tells the table something about theirs, and lying about it is fair game. The tone is goofy characters in a spooky setting, so the arguing is meant to be fun rather than tense.
Before you start
The game runs online with PvP, and there are multiple game modes and maps to pick from. Over 20 customizable game options let you shape the round before anyone joins, so agree on a setup with your group first. Characters are customizable with animated, expressive skins. PC is available; Mac, iOS, and Android are listed as coming in 2025/Q2, so check what your group can run before planning a session. Expect regular updates adding new content.
