A death game at Lastope School
Deadly Trick is an anime-style social deduction game set at Lastope School, where a deadly event called "Special Class" is taking place. The game is designed for 5 to 8 players. Your goal depends on the role you pick: as a White, you complete the class activities and try to escape the school. As a Shadow, you secretly eliminate the other participants. The game is currently in Early Access.
How your group plays together
Players choose their own roles at the start, deciding whether to cooperate as a White or betray the group as a Shadow. When an incident happens, an investigation begins. Everyone gathers clues at the crime scene to work out who the Shadow is. This leads into a "Class Trial," where the group must discuss the evidence and identify the culprit. If the trial fails to pinpoint the Shadow, everyone except the Shadow is executed, so the discussion carries real weight.
Working through the trial
During the Class Trial, you organize the clues you collected into statements. Players share and review each other's statements, comparing them to advance the deductions. The aim is to catch contradictions and narrow down who the culprit is. Once the group has found the culprit, they face the consequences. The game supports Online Co-op and Online PvP, so your group can play together over the internet.
