Lead the Desert Rangers in frozen Colorado
Wasteland 3 is a squad-based RPG from inXile Entertainment where you command a squad of up to six Desert Rangers. More than a century after the bombs fell, the Rangers are fighting to keep Arizona alive when the self-proclaimed Patriarch of Colorado radios with an offer: rescue his land from the ambitions of his three bloodthirsty children, and he'll send aid. Your quest runs from scorching deserts into snowy mountains, where you build a new base, find a snow-worthy vehicle, train recruits, and fight through hostile frozen wastes. The story is full of twists and brutal ethical decisions, and your choices shape who you trust among corrupt factions, cultists, gangs, and warring siblings. Colorado's fate, and your reputation, ends up in your hands.
Turn-based tactics with a customizable squad
Combat is challenging, tactical, and turn-based, built around a revamped and more fluid action system. Player vehicles, environmental dangers, and the frozen landscape all factor into fights. Character creation is detailed, with dozens of skills, perks, and quirks to shape your squad to your playstyle. You get your own battle truck, which you can upgrade into a hardened war beast bristling with weapons. Dialogue uses a dynamic system with full English voiceover, and conversations are shown in first-person, with a graphical and animation upgrade that brings Colorado's landscapes to life.
Play the campaign solo or in co-op
You can play single player or with a friend in story-driven online co-op. Choices open or close off mission opportunities, areas to explore, and story arcs, so the decisions you make together carry real weight across the world. The game carries a Sexual Content tag alongside its violent and post-apocalyptic themes, so keep that in mind before you start.
