A turn-based grand strategy sandbox

Warnament is a turn-based grand strategy game where you lead a nation through conquest, diplomacy and economic growth. Each turn gives you time to weigh your moves: raise armies, build fleets, fortify provinces, develop your economy and push through the technology tree to unlock new buildings and structures. You manage provinces individually so they can support economic and scientific growth, and you choose from six political regimes to shape your country's course. Weapons range from infantry to cruisers, battleships and aircraft carriers, up to chemical and nuclear options when a conflict escalates that far.

Playing together with friends

You can play solo or bring friends into the struggle for power. Diplomacy runs through the same tools whether you are dealing with AI or human rivals: declare wars, negotiate peace, build pacts and alliances, guarantee an ally's independence, demand concessions, force a rival into vassalage, or send an insult. Trade resources to build wealth, impose sanctions to pressure opponents, and call allies into a conflict when you need their support. The turn-based structure means everyone has time to think, bargain and plan between rounds.

Making it your own

Warnament includes map and scenario editors, so you can start from history or invent a world with its own countries and conflicts. After a campaign, the timelapse editor lets you retell how it unfolded. Community mods are available through Steam Workshop, and you can publish your own: change buildings, resources, technologies, events and political decisions. Creations can be shared with other players, and outstanding community content may become part of the official game.
