Calligraphy combat in an absurd ancient world
Wanba Warriors is a 1v1 fighting game from Wanba Studio where you fight with ink brushes in a world of supernatural powers and unconventional weapons. Warriors from all corners gather to show off their skills in quick battles. The base game includes six distinct characters, and multiple DLCs add characters with very different styles. Characters are drawn with abstract designs and expressive faces, and the health bar visuals are a highlight.
Playing together with friends
You can fight friends or AI opponents, both locally and online. Online play uses Steam P2P, so the network conditions of everyone involved affect how the match feels. If connections get rough, an accelerator for Steam P2P may help. Remote Play Together is supported, so a friend can join your session from their own setup.
Before you start
The game runs on a physics-based system with one joystick and two buttons, so the harder you swing, the more damage you land. Controllers are strongly recommended; keyboard and mouse work but are described as a unique challenge. If a controller does not respond correctly, check its settings in Steam. There are stamina settings to reduce controller strain and keep your gamepad going longer.
