A two-button martial arts fighter
Dojo Masters is a 2D pixel-art fighting game built around two buttons. Each character represents a different martial art, and each one adapts the attacks and techniques of its style in a way that stays easy to understand on first look. The design goal is simple: easy to pick up, hard to actually master. The win condition differs from a standard fighter — depleting your opponent's Stamina does not end the round. You have to drain their Stamina first, then knock them down to take the win.
Playing together
You can fight friends in local play with up to 4 players, running Free-For-All matches or Team Based Battles. Online play uses rollback netcode, with basic matchmaking and private lobbies where you can set up the match the way your group wants. Remote Play Together is supported, so someone can join your session from their own setup.
Modes and tools
Beyond versus, the game includes Arcade Mode, Survival Mode, and Character Trials. Training Mode has a deep set of tools for labbing, and replays can be saved, reviewed with live rewind, and re-run from any point with Replay Takeover to test different choices. Steam Workshop support lets you download, create, and share custom characters, skins, and stages.
