A two-player cave adventure
Together in Forgotten Lands is a co-op puzzle adventure built for exactly two players. You and one partner descend into an ancient cave hidden on a mystical mountain, where two adventurers bound by destiny search for secrets lost to history. The cave holds bizarre plants, mysterious creatures, and arcane forces, and it behaves like a living thing that shifts and transforms as you move through it. The story unfolds through cryptic messages and environmental storytelling rather than a straight narration, so you piece together the history of the forgotten world as you go. It is a linear first-person journey in 3D, moving from the depths of the cave back toward the light of day.
How you play together
Every puzzle is designed for two people, so communication is the core of the game. You coordinate actions, split up tasks, and synchronize movement to get past obstacles that cannot be solved alone. The puzzle types vary: light manipulation and reflection challenges, spatial puzzles, intricate labyrinths, rhythm-based and musical riddles, and platforming segments. The cave reacts to your presence, opening new paths and changing its layout as you progress, which means you both need to stay alert to what shifted. Online co-op and split screen are both supported, so you can play side by side or over a connection.
Before you start
The game is built exclusively for two players, so you need a partner before launching it. It is not a sequel to Together in Between and stands on its own. Expect four distinct biomes, each with its own atmosphere, mechanics, and creatures, and expect the challenges to mix puzzle solving with platforming rather than focus on combat. The tone leans toward mystery and exploration, with the cave's true nature revealing itself gradually as you push deeper.
