Chop trees fast and don't get hit
Timberman VS is an arcade game about swinging an axe at a tree as quickly as you can. The tree keeps growing as you chop, and branches come down at you, so you have to time your swings and dodge them. It runs on PC and consoles with cross-platform play, so your group can match up even if you are not all on the same machine.
Three ways to play
Classic Timberman is the single-player mode: an endless tree where you chase your own high score and earn experience to level up your account. Hero mode puts you in a burning forest where you climb a tree to rescue birds from their nest, with a golden egg waiting at the top if you make it. Race is the competitive mode, a fast tree-chopping competition where up to 4 players race to the finishing line, and first across wins.
What to know before starting
Local play supports up to 4 players on one setup, and Remote Play Together is available if your group wants to join from separate machines. There are 56 characters to unlock through the single-player challenge, so there is a reason to keep coming back to it outside of the group matches. The whole thing is pixel graphics and quick rounds, so it fits a short session as well as a longer one.
