What's in the pack
The Jackbox Party Pack 7 bundles five separate party games from Jackbox Games, Inc. Quiplash 3 is the third entry in the say-anything series: everyone answers quirky prompts and the group picks the winners. The Devils and the Details is a collaborative chaos game about surviving the daily torture of human life. Champ'd Up is a drawing game where you try to take down the heavy favorite. Talking Points is an on-the-spot speech game where you just keep talking whether it makes sense or not. Blather 'Round is a pop culture guessing game. Player counts differ per game: Quiplash 3, The Devils and the Details, Champ'd Up and Talking Points each support 3-8 players, while Blather 'Round supports 2-6.
How your group plays together
Everyone joins from a phone, tablet or computer, so no extra controllers are needed. Phones and tablets work as the controllers, which means one person can host on a screen while the rest answer, draw or guess from their own devices. The pack supports an audience of up to 10,000, so people can watch along even when they are not playing. Steam lists Remote Play Together support, and the games are local multiplayer at heart.
Playing with friends who are not in the room
The pack is local multiplayer, but it works over streams with remote players. Everyone uses any web-enabled device to join and play along, and you connect through a video conferencing tool such as Zoom, Steam Broadcast, Google Hangouts or Discord. Share your screen while on the call and watch for the prompts to share audio so the group can hear everything.
Before you start
The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is in English only, so keep that in mind for your group. Pick the game that fits your headcount, since Blather 'Round tops out at 6 players while the other four go to 8. Make sure everyone has a web-enabled device on hand before you launch a round.
