A roguelike rescue mission through NYC
Splintered Fate is a 2.5D action roguelike where the four Turtles fight through the Foot Clan to get Master Splinter back after Shredder kidnaps him. Mysterious portals open across the city, and each run takes you through iconic NYC locales packed with enemies. It plays like a beat 'em up crossed with an action RPG: you clear rooms, pick up randomized power-ups, and build your Turtle as you go. Room layouts, power-ups, and boss modifiers change every run, so no two attempts play out the same. The game also includes an Arcade Mode with unpredictable runs, new biomes, Wraith enemies, and the Hex and Flex system for a more immediate, high-intensity challenge.
Playing together with your group
Grab your friends, each pick a Turtle, and jump into the co-op campaign together. Online co-op and local co-op are both supported, and Remote Play Together is available if someone wants to join from a distance. All four Turtles have unique powers, so a group can split roles and combine their strengths. The power sets include water and fire, utrom and ooze, light and darkness, robotics, and ninja. Each Turtle can be upgraded over the course of a run, and the builds you and your allies bring stack together to take down tougher enemies and bosses. PvE only, so the whole group is always on the same side against the Foot Clan.
Before you start
Runs are built on the "FIGHT, ADAPT, REPEAT" portal loop, so expect to die, tweak your build, and go back in with a different setup. Randomized power-ups and room layouts mean your plan has to stay flexible; the build you favored last run may not drop this time. The PC version carries extra settings, balance, and tuning adjustments on top of the base game. Controller support is listed, and the game works as a single-player experience if your group is not around, though the co-op campaign is where the Turtle roster really pays off.
