Turn-based tank artillery against your friends
ShellShock Live is a strategic online multiplayer artillery game from kChamp Games. You control a customizable tank, pick your angle and power, and fire across the map at other tanks. Matches run as turn-based battles, so there is time to think about where a shot will land and how the terrain has changed since your last turn. The terrain is fully destructible, and earthquakes and other natural disasters can reshape the battlefield mid-match, which means the cover you planned around may not exist by your next turn.
Playing together in a group
Battles support 8-player team matches and free-for-all, so your group can split into teams and coordinate fire, or everyone can fight for themselves. Online co-op and online PvP are both available, and Remote Play Together lets friends join in from their own setup. Tactical play matters: distinct tanks, weapons, items, maps, and play styles mean no two matches play out the same way, and working with teammates on target priority and positioning is what wins team games.
Progression and weapon variety
There are over 400 unique weapons to unlock, upgrade, and master, ranging from the 'Seagull' to the 'Mega-Nuke'. Every one of them can be upgraded to a more powerful version, and you can also upgrade your tank, your skills, and your items. Earning XP levels you up through 100 unique ranks, each with its own rewards and unlocks, and global leaderboards track how you stack up. All gameplay content is earned by playing rather than paying; anything purchasable is purely cosmetic.
Before you start
The game is in Early Access, and updates land frequently with new features and community suggestions, so expect the balance and content to keep shifting. Multiple game modes keep matches varied, and the soundtrack and physics-driven 2D action give it a lighthearted, family-friendly feel even when you are blowing up your friends.
