Quick 7v7 tank brawls
World of Tanks Blitz puts you in a team of seven tanks against seven opponents, with battles capped at seven minutes. You either wipe out the enemy team or capture and control their base. The rounds are short, so a session fits into a small break or stretches easily across an evening. Hundreds of tanks and dozens of maps keep the lineup varied, and the roster mixes real history-book machines with prototypes and outright imaginary vehicles from collaborations. Each tank has its own stats and battlefield role: heavies soak damage and lead the charge, lights spot and flank, mediums do a bit of both, and tank destroyers snipe from the back. You progress by researching and mounting bigger guns, tuning equipment, consumables, and crew skills, then dressing the tank in camo and avatars.
Playing together with friends
Form a platoon and roll out with a friend, or join a clan to find people to chat with, theorycraft, and improve with. The game runs on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch as one shared battlefield, and cross-platform multiplayer means everyone fights in the same arenas regardless of device. Your account and progress carry across devices, so switching hardware does not reset anything. For looser sessions, training rooms let you practice tactics, run scrims, or just drive around and shoot each other. Ranked Battles and official tournaments are there when your group wants tougher opponents and rewards.

It is free to play with in-app purchases, so expect a progression curve built around researching and upgrading tanks over time. The match format is 7v7 with a hard seven-minute limit, which shapes how aggressive a round can be. The game is built to run on a wide range of hardware, from gaming rigs to modest machines, and the Steam build includes camera comfort options, color alternatives, custom volume controls, stereo sound, and a touch-only input option. Steam Family Sharing is supported, along with Steam Trading Cards. Modes and events rotate on schedules, so a specific mode or event tank may only be available during its window.
