Build your own vehicle from the ground up

Screw Drivers is a vehicle building game where you assemble cars, trucks, tanks, planes or anything else you can imagine in a build editor. You pick building blocks and mechanical parts, then work out the powertrain yourself: combustion engines, electric engines, or both, connected through axles, gears and suspensions so the power actually reaches the wheels. The physics are the point here. A gear transmission you engineer correctly will get you moving, whether you drive rear-wheel or power all 30 wheels of your machine. Four wheels or sixteen, propellers, pistons, 50 engines — the construction is yours to decide, and the result can be realistic or ridiculous.

Race your creations

Once a vehicle runs, you take it onto the tracks around the island for high-speed races with crazy physics and plenty of crashes. The game leans into destruction as much as speed, so expect creations to get battered. Progression runs through the monarchs: a group of royals who claim they have the best cars in the world, each using different building blocks to activate special mechanical features in their vehicles. Beat their creations and you unlock new engines, wheels and gears to build with.

Play together online

Online PvP is where the building pays off with friends. Start up a multiplayer server, invite the group, and race around the island together across a variety of tracks and challenges. Everyone brings their own design, so the fun comes from comparing what each person engineered and seeing which drivetrain holds up under real racing.

Before you start

The build editor is described as easy to use, but the powertrain work still asks for some thought — axles, gears and suspensions have to be arranged so power flows from engine to wheels. The game is in Early Access, so expect it to still be taking shape. It carries a Family Friendly tag alongside the destruction and physics, and singleplayer is available alongside the multiplayer racing.
