What Scam Line Is
Scam Line is a social deception game for 4 to 8 players. Everyone gets locked into a separate room, and you never see the other players. The only way to reach them is through an old mobile phone, so talking is your main tool and the information you give away is the currency of the round. The game runs in Early Access and currently ships with 22 social challenges. Some are about gathering facts fast, like learning your neighbours' room numbers before anyone else does, or spotting who is dressed differently from the rest. Others are classic mind games such as the Prisoner's Dilemma, where the deal you make can help you or bury you. Every challenge is built around reading people and deciding how much of the truth they are getting.
How Your Group Plays It Together
Your party fills the lobby, the match spreads everyone across their own rooms, and the phone becomes the line between you. From there you can form alliances, trade information, make deals, or go the other way and bluff, lie, and manipulate whoever picks up. Voice-based communication is the core of it, so the run plays out through what people say, what they withhold, and when they choose to break a promise. Behaviour shapes the session: no two runs land the same way, because the players decide how honest or ruthless the table gets. Only one player comes out as the winner, so cooperation is always a temporary arrangement.
Before You Start
Expect a dark, tense atmosphere with simple visuals rather than heavy graphics, and the game is built to run on weak hardware. It is tagged across social deduction, strategy, puzzle, and horror, so the pressure comes from people, not from action. Since it is in Early Access, some rough edges and bugs are possible. The supported setup is online play, with both co-op and PvP angles, so you will need your group in the same session to get the full experience.
