What RUSH is

RUSH is a wingsuit flying game built for VR, played from a first-person view. You drop down mountainsides at high speed, weaving through canyons, dodging rock outcrops, and plunging down sheer drops on the way to a finish line. The whole thing is about holding a clean line at near terminal velocity rather than shooting or fighting. The game offers five environments: four mountains with real-time weather and changing time of day, plus more than 100 unique mountain paths to learn, ranging from straightforward downhill trails to expert-level runs through the tightest gaps.

Playing together

RUSH has online multiplayer where you can challenge up to 11 friends, or take a quick race against random jumpers. Beyond racing to the finish, there's Time Attack and Score Challenge, each pushing a different skill: pure speed, clean lines, or points. Freeflight mode strips away the timers, rings, and restrictions, so a group can just roam the mountainside together, explore at its own pace, and collect spinning tokens if anyone feels like it. That makes it easy to mix a session between competitive jumps and relaxed flying without changing games.

Before you start

This is a VR title with a first-person camera, so a headset is part of the setup. Expect a game about precision and route knowledge: the same mountain path plays very differently depending on whether you're racing, chasing a time, or hunting score, and the narrow expert runs punish sloppy steering. Weather and time of day shift in real time, so visibility and conditions won't always be identical between attempts. If you're new, start on the basic downhill trails and work up to the tighter suicide runs, and use Freeflight to learn a mountain's shape before racing it.
