A colour-based platformer for big groups
Runbow is a fast platformer where the background swipes and changes colour, and platforms or obstacles that match the new colour vanish. If you can't see it, it doesn't exist, so you have to keep moving and watch the screen constantly. Matches support up to 9 players, played locally or online, and there are 5 game modes to pick from.
Playing together
Go head to head with friends in Run, Arena, or King of the Hill, either locally or online. You can host a Private Game for your group, or join an Open Party and take on other players. The default controls cover two players on one keyboard: Player 1 uses WASD to move, F to jump, G to attack, and H to taunt; Player 2 uses the arrow keys, Comma to jump, Period to attack, and Slash to taunt. All controls are remappable, and Xbox One and PlayStation 4 controllers are supported, with similar controllers defaulting to Xbox bindings.
Before you start
The Single Player Adventure has you saving Poster District from the evil Satura across a map of over 140 levels where you choose your own path. The Bowhemoth is a single ultra-difficult challenge set in the belly of a colossal beast, meant to test experienced platforming players. There are 19 guest characters to unlock, including Shovel Knight, CommanderVideo, Shantae, and Lilac, along with costumes, hundreds of pieces of Gallery content, and 68 Steam Achievements.
