What REKT: Crash Test is
REKT: Crash Test is a stunt driving game set in a retro arena, built around combos and tricks rather than lap times alone. You jump, drift, grind, flip and barrel roll your car, chaining moves together to push your score up. The physics model keeps tricks smooth and forgiving to pull off, so the basics come quickly, but chaining them cleanly and keeping a run alive takes real practice. Sessions are short and arcade-like: you get in, run a challenge, and go again.
Challenges change every time you enter an arena, with variables that shift their difficulty, so the objectives keep rotating. Among them are checkpoint races designed specifically for each arena. Clearing challenges unlocks new cars, arenas and customization options.
Playing solo
Two singleplayer modes cover the two moods. HIGH SCORE is the main mode: old-school arcade rules, a running clock, and a spot on the global leaderboard to chase. Time always counts down, though there are ways to extend it mid-run. PRACTICE removes the clock entirely, so you can run a spot as long as you like, drill a trick until it lands, and learn an arena without pressure.
Playing with friends
Multi Ride is the local competitive mode for up to 4 players. SCORE puts everyone chasing the highest score in the arena. VIRUS turns it into a tag game: crash into others to spread the infection, or stay clean and survive — last car standing wins. CHECKPOINT awards a point to whoever hits the checkpoint first, and the first to 5 points takes it. CAPTURE THE CROWN gives the holder 90 seconds to defend the crown; lose it and someone else reigns.
Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join in from their own setup.
Before you start
Expect a game that is easy to learn and hard to master — the fun comes from layering flips, rolls, loops, grinds and drifts into longer and longer combos rather than from winning a single race. A controller suits the driving and trick inputs. Start in PRACTICE to get a feel for the arena layout and the timing of each stunt, then move to HIGH SCORE when you want the clock and the leaderboard pressure. In multiplayer, pick the mode that fits your group: SCORE for a straightforward score attack, VIRUS for chaos, CHECKPOINT for a race, CAPTURE THE CROWN for a hold-the-point fight.
