A Satirical Street Brawler
Pulling No Punches is a 2D beat 'em up with classic arcade influences and modern, frame-by-frame animation. The story follows a fictional global pandemic that has been ignored by fanatics who refuse to believe the disease is real. You play as one of four common citizens, adequately protected with gloves and masks, who must deal with these fanatics and solve the situation using their own fists. The combat system gives you a wide variety of punches, kicks, grabs, and headbutts to destroy your enemies, alongside bullet hell sequences. The art style is cartoony, stylized, and colorful, with a comic book feel.
Playing Together
The game supports 4-player local co-op, allowing a group to work through the campaign side by side. Each of the four characters comes with unique unlockables and moves, so your group can mix and match different fighting styles as you progress. If your friends are not in the same room, the game also supports Remote Play Together, which lets you share your session with others over the internet.
Before You Start
The game is tagged as singleplayer, so you can play through the campaign alone if your group is not available. It also includes a Score Attack mode for those who want to chase high scores after finishing the story. Expect a mix of traditional brawling and bullet hell sections as you fight through the city.
