A bunny farmer with a match-3 twist
Princess Farmer puts you in the paws of a magical bunny who woke up under the Gaia Tree with the power of Mother Gaia behind her. She can hoist up whole rows of veggies to make matches and smash obstacles, which makes the puzzle side feel more active than a typical match-3 game. You move your character around the board and manage stacks yourself, so positioning and timing matter as much as spotting a good match. Level goals change things up: score targets, timed runs, harvesting a specific veggie, fulfilling requests, avoiding certain veggies, danger areas, and even face-offs against a pretty adorable opponent. Storms bring out Grumpy Block, who is there to spoil your harvesting fun.
You pick one of three playstyles — Action, Puzzle, or a Balance of the two — and all three earn you rewards, so you can lean into reflexes or take it slow. The story runs in episodes like magical-girl anime, each lasting roughly 20 minutes to an hour depending on your playstyle, skill, and whether you skip dialogue.
Playing it together
Harvesting works as a shared activity: you and a friend tackle levels side by side and make dialogue choices together as you explore. Steam's Remote Play Together means you don't need to be in the same room to join in. If you'd rather play alone, an AI companion can join you on the farm instead.
Relationships, fashion, and the mystery in the woods
Dialogue options shape how Princess Farmer interacts with her friends, which affects your relationships with them. Get close enough and they may become your BFF and hand over gifts. The cast includes Mother Gaia, Garlic, Shoppe Keeper Rowan, and BunBot, and something mysterious is happening in the woods that you'll puzzle your way toward uncovering.
Along the way you earn Heart Coins, which you can give to Ro at the Shoppe for different Hare Dyes. Charm characters with your dialogue choices to unlock new outfits. The look is bright, bouncy, retro pixel art, and the soundtrack blends chiptunes with lo-fi beats.
