A farming life you don't remember

Everafter Falls starts with you waking up to find that your previous life was a simulation, and none of it was real. You have no memory of the town, your animal neighbors, or the little farm just outside of town. The game is a top-down farming sim where you rebuild a quiet life: farm, fish, forage a large collection of items, and turn your plot into a cozy and efficient setup. Along the way you take on quests and conversations with your new friends to help them through their small-town drama and uncover what happened to you. Progression runs through a card-eating system — you chomp cards to upgrade your stats and take on tougher enemies, so your build changes as you go.

Playing it together

The game has split-screen co-op, so a second player joins you on the same screen to tackle the farm's toughest challenges. You split the work: one person can keep crops watered and harvested while the other heads into a dungeon, or you can both push through the same problem together. The game also supports Remote Play Together, which lets a friend join over a connection rather than sitting beside you. Either way, the co-op is built around sharing the load of a farm that also has combat and dungeons attached to it.

Drones, pets and pixies

You are not working alone. Automated drones can expand your inventory, tend your harvest, and even help you in a fight, which matters because your farm still needs running while you are underground. Your pet learns jobs of its own — tilling soil, watering crops, and teleporting you across the map. Resourceful pixies are around to help as well. Together these helpers are what let you keep a farm going while you spend time elsewhere.

Dungeons and combat

Four different dungeons test agility, strength and cunning, and each ends in a dangerous boss. Combat is a real part of the loop: you fight your way down, upgrade your stats, and come back up to a farm that has kept producing. Expect a mix of cozy routine and genuine danger rather than a purely relaxing sim.

Before you start

Know that this is a blend of genres — farming sim, life sim, RPG and action — so sessions can swing from planting crops to boss fights quickly. Character customization is available, and the tone is family friendly and casual despite the dungeons. The story centers on regaining lost memories through quests and relationships with the town's residents, so talking to people is part of progress, not just optional flavor.
