Going down after your dog
Pratfall is a first-person co-op cave game where your dog has fallen into a hole at a construction site inside a dog park, and you go after it with a helmet, a pickaxe, and whoever you can drag along. The caves below are a big system full of traps, hazards, and gravity, which the game treats as the most dangerous thing down there. Fall damage is on, so every drop matters. Each run is different: three procedurally generated biomes rebuild the layout, and the terrain is destructible, so you can dig your own route instead of taking the one that is there.
Playing it with your group
Online co-op runs from one player up to a large group, and the store notes that four is safe, eight is rough, twelve is ambitious, and more than that will strain your machine. Voice proximity chat means you hear the people near you, which is where most of the comedy comes from: catching a friend who is falling, reviving them when they are down, or deciding not to. Items are scattered and buried everywhere, so the group splits up to find food for healing injuries, ziplines for crossing crevasses, and flares to light the dark. Pickaxes, drills, and magic beans let you carve new paths. Bombs and other odd items can be thrown at friends to see what happens.
Before you start
Expect a chaotic, physics-heavy descent rather than a careful platformer: you will fall, and falling is part of the loop. Character customization and cosmetics are available, and full key remapping plus gamepad support are included, so set your controls up front. The game is listed as "Prattfall" in one spot in its own store text, so search both spellings if you cannot find it. Bring friends who enjoy laughing at failure more than optimizing a run.
