A handpainted hidden object walk

Please, Touch The Artwork 2 is a short, slow-paced point and click adventure built around real hand-painted art. You move through five unique worlds, zoom in for extra detail, and hunt for hidden objects scattered across the paintings. Along the way you collect items for quirky inhabitants, solve casual puzzles, and repair cracks in the fabric of the paintings themselves. The whole thing follows a lost skeleton painter trying to find the way home. The tone mixes cozy exploration with a bit of dark humor, and hints are there whenever you get stuck.

Playing it as a group

The game is a singleplayer experience, but Remote Play Together is supported, so one person can host and others can join in over the stream. Since the pace is relaxed and the puzzles are casual, it works well as a shared session where someone drives the point and click while the rest of the group calls out things they spot in the artwork. Zooming in on details makes it easier for everyone watching to chime in on hidden objects and puzzle solutions.

Before you start

This is a short game, made by a solo developer in six months as a tribute to James Ensor, and it is 100% free with no ads and no in-app purchases. It was created with support from the Flemish Government for the Belgian EU Presidency 2024. Expect a linear, 2D journey with atmospheric, relaxing sound and a silly, quirky streak throughout. It is fit for ages 12 to 99, and the hand-painted art is the main attraction, so take your time looking at each scene rather than rushing through.
