A quiet journey with two survivors
Voyage is a cinematic side-scrolling adventure about two survivors trying to find their way home. The story is told without words, so you piece together what happened to the past of this world by watching, exploring, and paying attention to what surrounds you. The game leans on atmosphere rather than combat: there is no fighting, and the focus stays on moving through the world and uncovering its mystery. It is a short experience, built around a single continuous voyage rather than a long list of objectives.
Playing together or on your own
You can play through Voyage alone, controlling both survivors yourself, or share the trip with a friend in a seamless cooperative setup. In co-op, each of you guides one survivor, and progress depends on working together as you move through the hand-painted environments. Remote Play Together is supported, so a friend can join your session even if they do not have the game installed. The local co-op tag also points to playing side by side on one setup. Either way, the structure stays the same: two characters, one journey, and shared exploration rather than competition between players.
What to expect before you start
Expect a relaxed pace. Voyage is tagged as a walking simulator and relaxing, with exploration as the main activity and no violence anywhere in it. The narrative is wordless, so there is no dialogue to follow and no quest log telling you where to go; you read the environment instead. Visually, everything is hand-painted, giving the world a drawn, cinematic look, and the soundtrack and sound design come from Calum Bowen, known for Snipperclips, Pikuniku, and Lovely Planet. Controls are customizable across keyboard, gamepad, mouse, and touch, which makes it easy to settle into whatever input feels comfortable for you or for whoever is sharing the second survivor.
