A goblin scramble for food
PIT OF GOBLIN is an online co-op survival extraction game where you play a scrappy goblin sent down into the Pit to scavenge. You descend through castles, crypts, mines, caverns, and other spooky locations, filling your limited pockets with food and loot while monsters and nasties try to kill you or steal what you have gathered. Your goblin can sprint and jump, and big items may need both hands. Eating certain items gives a buff, and you can also throw items as a weapon or a distraction. Fire lights your way, and friendly fire means a careless swing or torch can hit your own friends.
Playing together
You can go solo, but the game supports 2-4 player online cooperative play with friends or random teammates through matchmaking, plus proximity voice chat so you hear who is nearby. Work as a group to haul food back and feed the King Queen. Deliver enough grub and they send you back down, hungrier each time and demanding more. Go rogue instead, sneak off, and hoard the loot for yourself — the choice of cooperating or causing trouble is yours. Traps are scattered everywhere, so step carefully, and watch for traps that can hurt or kill. The deeper you go, the tougher things get, and you still need to find your way back out.
Before you start
Runs are not the same twice, and the deeper levels hold greater rewards alongside greater risk. Your loot decides your next run: hand it to the King Queen, eat it yourself for stamina, or sell it in the goblin village for coins. Coins buy torches, magical lanterns, armor, and other items from the goblin merchant, or special communication stones from the curio shop. Each dive is a chance to upgrade gear. Remember the core deal — the King Queen's belly is bottomless, and disappointing them could be your downfall. The game is in Early Access, so expect it to still be in development.
