Steal from ghosts, survive the dark
Boo Men is a first-person horror game where you break into homes and take everything on your list before you can leave. The catch is that Boo Men hide in the dark, so you need to keep the lights on to stay alive. Every light you switch on drains the power faster, and when the power cuts out you have to find the breaker and get it running again. A Boo Man might even be waiting in a lit room for someone to turn the light off, so check before you flip the switch.
Play with your crew or hunt them
You can go in alone or team up with up to 4 burglars online, and the game adjusts itself to match your group size. Split the prize money with your team or keep it all if you run solo. There is also PvP mode where one of you plays as the Boo Man against the rest, up to 5 players total. Each Boo Man has its own unique abilities to learn and master, and proximity voice chat lets you hear your friends scream or call out to them. Just remember that something else might be listening too.
What to expect before you start
Boo Men is in Early Access, so things can still change. There are 8 Boo Men to face, each with a different play style, and 8 maps to burglarize that range from small to medium to large. You can pick from 5 difficulties, and spawn locations are randomized. Custom games let you add multiple of any Boo Man for endless combinations. The in-game market lets you spend your stolen money on burglar masks, access to richer houses with larger payouts, and perks to help on your heist. Character customization is available for your burglar.
