What Panzer Ball is
Panzer Ball is a fast-paced 3D platformer built around speed and agility, drawing on the classic surf maps and bunnyhop modes from older games. You control a ball that jumps through courses, and the whole thing comes down to carrying momentum cleanly from one jump to the next. The tagline says it all: it's just a ball that jumps, how hard could it be? Very hard, and it can be VERY hard. Expect a game that is easy to pick up but takes real practice to get good at.
Playing together
The multiplayer is fully real-time, so you can invite friends and race to see who posts the fastest time. Races can be run against each other or alongside each other, and the server browser lets you create a session and tune it the way you want, or search for the exact type of race you're after. Split screen is listed as a feature as well, so groups on one machine can play together.
Before you start
This is Early Access, and the developers run a community where you can take part in experimental modes and early playtests and help shape the game as it develops. In single-player you complete challenges across different maps and unlock new locations as you go. The difficulty is real: the precision platforming and physics-based movement mean clean jumps and good speed control matter more than anything else, so expect to retry courses to shave down your time.
