Keeping the RV alive

Nomad Drive puts you behind the wheel of a rundown RV in a post-apocalyptic world. You repair each part of the vehicle, then keep upgrading it as you go. The world is procedurally generated, so every new run starts somewhere different and throws up its own abandoned locations and roads to pick through. Regions form distinct biomes, each with its own climate and ecosystem, so the route you take changes what you'll run into. Scavenging for resources is the core loop: you find things out in the world and bring them back to the RV.

Living inside the vehicle

The RV is more than transport. Every part is interactive, from furniture to appliances, and you can touch, customize and rearrange what's inside. Stoves, refrigerators, toilets and seating areas can all be personalized so the interior becomes your own space. Cooking is a real activity — you take the food you've found, use the RV's kitchen to turn it into more nutritious meals, and there's fishing and coffee-making too. Seeds you discover out in the world can be planted in pots and looked after; they grow into fruit and vegetables you can eat. Repairing, cooking and tending plants all keep you busy between drives.

Playing with friends

The whole thing works solo or in 1–4 player co-op with online co-op supported. A group can split the work that survival demands: one person drives, others scavenge the surrounding area, someone handles repairs and cooking back at the RV. Since the world regenerates each run, no two sessions hand your group the same starting point, so there's a reason to go back through it again. The goal is straightforward — survive as long as you can — and how long that lasts depends on how well the group manages resources, keeps the RV in working order, and picks where to travel next. It's in Early Access, so expect things to still be taking shape.
