Raise a Nanomon on your desktop

Nanomon Virtual Pet is a creature-collecting game in the style of classic digital pet games. You hatch a Nanomon and look after it from a small window on your desktop. There are over 25 unique monsters to raise, from magical cats to retro dragons, so the pet you end up with depends on the choices you make along the way.

Feeding is a big part of it. Exotic foods push your Nanomon down different evolution paths, so what you feed it shapes which monster it becomes. Beyond feeding, you can train it, play with it, or just let it nap at home. The Guide Book is there to help you work out what your Nanomon needs to reach its potential, whether that's making it the strongest, the fastest, or something else entirely.

Explore the Nanoscape together

The Nanoscape is a big world packed into a small window, full of ever-changing biomes and secrets to uncover. While you explore, your Nanomon evolves and learns new abilities, which opens up parts of the world you couldn't reach before. It plays out partly as an adventure and partly as an idler: you're off doing something else, your pet is still hanging around and growing.

There are plenty of activities to fill the time between exploring. You can go fishing, play stick-ball, or dive into dungeons with your Nanomon. Dungeons and fast-paced battles sit alongside the calmer moments, so sessions can be as active or as relaxed as you feel like. Cleaning up after your pet is part of the routine too.

Battle friends online

When you and your group want something competitive, Nanomon has online PvP. Each of you raises your own Nanomon, and the tamer who put in the training comes out on top. Since your Nanomon's development comes from what you fed, trained and evolved it, two pets of the same species can end up quite different, which makes matchups unpredictable.

Before you start, know that this is a laid-back game that runs alongside whatever else you're doing. Progress comes from checking in and caring for your pet over time, not from a single sitting. Pick your starting Nanomon with the long game in mind, since food and evolution choices are what shape it later.
