A desktop companion that keeps working

Nano Neighbors puts a customizable android, called a NANO, at the bottom of your screen. You act as its Handler: style its appearance, upgrade it as it grows, and assign it jobs such as crafting, gathering, assisting with research, or taking on missions. Those tasks earn rewards and income you can spend on more customization. You also build and decorate a futuristic capsule home with furniture, gadgets, and upgrades, and play mini games to earn. The game runs as an idle simulation, so your NANO keeps going while you work, study, game, or browse.

Playing together with friends

Online Co-op lets you connect with other players. You can visit your friends' NANOs, explore their capsules, or invite them over to yours, and watch how their NANOs grow and evolve differently from yours. Discord integration turns a server into a social hub where you and your friends can jump in and play together inside Nano Neighbors, even if someone does not own the game. Twitch integration lets streamers' viewers interact with the NANO through chat commands, helping with tasks, sending gifts, or joining the capsule home.

Before you start

Expect a relaxed, long-running loop: assign tasks, let rewards accumulate, then spend them on customization and your capsule. The game is a 2D pixel-art life sim with anime-style, colorful characters, and it blends idle automation with resource management and dating-sim elements. Your NANO stays on screen passively, so it is there whether you are actively engaging or just watching it work.
