A short walk through urban legends

NAGAISAN is a first-person walking simulator built around urban legends. You move through a modern setting, examine objects, and let the story unfold as events trigger while you walk. There are no quest markers and no time limits, so the pace stays in your hands. The whole thing runs between 15 and 40 minutes, which makes it easy to fit into a session. The tone mixes cute and atmospheric with horror and comedy, and the story touches on a lost dog, a place from the past, and a feeling of being watched.

Playing together

The Steam version supports Remote Play Together, so a friend can join your session over the internet even though the game is listed as singleplayer. One person owns and runs the game, and the rest tag along through the stream. Since there are no quests to split up or timers to race, the group can simply watch and react together as the events play out. Treat it like a shared screening: whoever hosts drives, everyone else reacts to what shows up.

Before you start

Go in expecting a short, self-contained story rather than a system-heavy game. There is no combat loop or progression to chase; you examine objects and walk, and the narrative does the rest. The horror leans psychological, so the discomfort comes from atmosphere and suggestion rather than constant threats. Streaming is explicitly allowed without permission for both individuals and businesses, which is worth knowing if you plan to broadcast it. Playtime sits between 15 and 40 minutes, so a single sitting covers the whole thing.
