What MycoRelic Is
MycoRelic is a cooperative third-person action-RPG set on islands inhabited by tribal mushroom robots. You are a sentient fungus reanimating the scrapped body of a long-dead machine. Loot derelict foundries to upgrade that robotic body, and explore ancient temples to infuse your fungus with forgotten elemental powers. The game is in Early Access.
Playing Together
Play solo or join your friends. Cooperate to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and clear dungeons. When you join a friend's world, you bring your character and items with you.
Combat and Progression
There is no class system, so you build your own combat style. Dodge, block, and parry while fighting the hostile tribes and creatures of the island. Each weapon has its own move set and statistics, and armor can suit your playstyle. Scavenge parts to replace your starting decrepit, moldy frame, expanding your stamina, boosting frame integrity, and increasing the potency of fungal magic. Elemental powers come from infusing yourself with the power in each fungus, and combining effects produces explosive results: fire burns enemies and clears barricades, healing water rejuvenates friends and blocks flames, and spiritual essence empowers allies.
Movement and Environment
Jump, air-dash, and mantle over obstacles to find new pathways across stony cliffs, burning magma, noxious mangroves, and spore-riddled chasms.
