What MXGP3 is
MXGP3 - The Official Motocross Videogame is Milestone S.r.l.'s take on the official Motocross Championship, built on Unreal Engine 4 for rebuilt graphics, scenarios and visual effects. It carries the official license, tracks and rosters from the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship, so you race the 18 official tracks with the riders and bikes from the 2016 MXGP and MX2 seasons, plus the MXoN. The game covers racing, simulation and sports, and it also includes singleplayer play.
Playing together
Online PvP is available, so your group can race against each other rather than only against the AI. Everyone picks a rider and bike from the official 2016 rosters and lines up on the same official track, then fights for position across the race. The offroad, motocross focus means the racing happens on dirt circuits with jumps and rough terrain rather than on paved roads.
Before you start
There are 10 two-stroke bikes to ride, each with its own dedicated sounds and reactions, and they sit alongside the four-stroke machines from the official roster. Customisation runs deep: more than 300 official components let you change both your bike and your rider, so expect to spend time in the menus before a race if you want a specific look. The game is a simulation-leaning racer, so the bikes behave with realistic reactions rather than arcade handling, and learning how each bike reacts on the dirt matters as much as raw speed.
