Race bikes, ATVs and UTVs off-road
MX vs ATV Legends is an off-road racing game from Rainbow Studios where you ride motocross bikes, ATVs and UTVs. The game leans realistic, with a refined physics system that lets you ride berms and ruts with more precision. Alongside the racing you get a career mode that walks you through the risks and rewards of becoming a professional rider, where your choices lead to different paths, sponsorship opportunities and special invitational events. There is also a Trails mode built for high-intensity outdoor racing with surprises around every turn that challenge your riding style. Large open environments give you plenty of ground to cover, and you can customize your rider and vehicles with parts and gear from leading off-road manufacturers.
Playing together
Two of you can share a screen in split-screen, or you can take the racing online with up to 16 players in squad-based gameplay. Season 5 adds a Server Browser and Cross-Platform Multiplayer, so finding a lobby and mixing with players on other platforms is part of the package. Remote Play Together is supported, which lets a friend join in from their own setup. Squad-based play means the online races are built around teams rather than a lone free-for-all.
Before you start
A controller is listed among the game's tags, so it is worth having one ready if you prefer pads over keyboard. The game carries a Singleplayer tag as well, so the career and Trails modes stand on their own when nobody else is online. Season 5 introduces Time-Based Penalties that replace instant resets when you cut corners, so expect to lose time rather than snap back onto the track. The same season brings Advanced Replay and Photo Mode, an Overhead Map, the Daytona Supercross Track Pack with the 2026 race and five throwback versions of Daytona SX, and new vehicle packs, all free for players.
