A serious motorcycle simulator
GP Bikes is a realistic motorcycle simulator built on a scratch-built physics engine that accurately simulates motorcycle dynamics and setup options. The simulation goes deep: an automotive industry-standard tyre model, chassis flex simulation, a dynamic track surface with groove buildup, wet track simulation with dynamic drying, and dynamic marbles generation. Tyres pick up marbles, grass and dirt, which affects grip. You can output CSV files with telemetry data to analyze riding sessions, and a plugins interface allows external programs to receive realtime data from the simulated bike. You can also paint the bike, helmet and suit, and pick rider gestures.
Racing with your group
You can host and join online races over LAN and online, with a dedicated server available. During events data is collected to provide statistics for riders' comparison. There is no AI and no career mode, so the racing comes from the people you play with.
Before you start
Stock content is limited at the moment, with only one bike available; more will be added with updates. Tools and documentation are provided to allow advanced users to build and integrate new tracks, bikes, helmets and more. The game supports native Oculus Rift and SteamVR (HTC Vive, Valve Index), FreeTrack and EDTracker, and can be played in first-person or third-person.
