Furniture moving gone wrong
Moving Out is a physics-based moving simulator set in the town of Packmore. You play as a newly certified Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician working for Smooth Moves, a small moving company that takes on any job, no matter how dangerous or strange. Each job gives you furniture to get from point A to point B, and the route is rarely a straight line. Doors and windows get in the way, so you can lift, toss, and smash through them with the physics engine rather than following the training manual. Jobs start in sleepy suburbs and move on to frenzied farms, haunted houses, virtual reality, and lands beyond as your reputation ranks up.
Playing together
You can play the story mode solo as an independent contractor, or team up with friends. Up to four players can sit on the couch together and argue over the best way to move a couch. Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join in over a connection as well. The game also has an Assist Mode that lets you adjust the difficulty, which helps if someone in the group is new to this kind of game.
Before you start
The game leans on physics and timing, so expect furniture to behave unpredictably and jobs to get more precarious as you go. You recruit a cast of colorful customizable characters as your business grows, and faster times are the goal on each job. It works as a singleplayer experience too, so you can run jobs alone before bringing the group in.
