A brutal Soviet beat 'em up
Mother Russia Bleeds is an ultra-violent co-op brawler set in an alternate U.S.S.R. The story follows a desperate crew of imprisoned street fighters who must overcome an oppressive criminal authority and forced drug addictions by any means necessary. Expect old-fashioned beat 'em up action with big doses of adrenaline and trippiness, aiming to conjure up anxiety, unease, and a drug-addled frenzy. You pull yourself up from the cold, hard ground to punch, claw, and stab through hardened ghettos, violent prisons, grim laboratories, and decadent clubs.
Fighting together with your crew
This is a co-op brawler for up to four players at once. You can go it alone or rumble alongside friends in a local co-op ruckus, picking a combatant before you start. The game offers an exceptional story mode campaign to play through together, plus a savage Survival Mode if you want to harden your resolve. Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join in even if they do not have the game.
Drugs, rage, and hard fights
Combat gets a boost from powerful narcotics. A quick injection triggers a maniacal rage where you can crush skulls, snap necks, and tear flesh from bone. Your syringe needs refilling, and you find your next fix in the blood of fallen foes by jamming the needle into their convulsing bodies. The game leans into psychological horror, gore, nudity, and sexual content alongside its retro pixel graphics and 2D perspective, so know the tone before you start. It is tagged as difficult, so expect a tough fight rather than an easy ride.
