What Monster Energy Supercross 3 is
This is the official videogame of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, built as a replica of the Supercross world. Everything in it is official, from the real teams to the training compound. The 2019 season is the centerpiece: you get 100 riders across the 450SX and 250SX categories, plus 15 official stadiums and tracks. For the first time, you can race with the official Supercross teams of the 2019 Championship in career mode. The riding itself has been reworked with new ground and in-air physics, new rider models and new animations, so the bikes handle differently in the air and on the dirt than before.
How your group plays together
The new compound is the main place to hang out with friends. It is inspired by the Supercross test tracks used by the official teams, and it is a bigger area where you can train, race or just roam freely in co-op. For competitive sessions, dedicated servers back the online play. A Private Lobby lets you set up a custom event and challenge your friends directly. A Public Lobby gives you two routes: build your own lobby with your own race mode, race type and weather settings, or scroll through the list of available lobbies and pick one that suits the group. Race Director mode hands one player the controls of the event itself — choosing the starting grid, handing out penalties and directing the race while the rest compete.
Things to know before starting
The track editor is open-ended: create, share and download tracks, so a group can build its own circuit and then race it, or vote on and download someone else's. You can also choose to play as a female rider and chase the championship that way. Career mode is tied to the official 2019 teams, so expect the structure of a real season rather than a loose set of events. The physics changes affect both ground handling and in-air behavior, which matters if you are coming from an earlier entry in the series — the bike will not feel identical.
