What's in the collection
This package brings together seven games from the Mega Man Star Force series: Mega Man Star Force Pegasus, Leo, Dragon, Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja, Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian, Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace, and Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker. The story starts in the year 220X, where Wave technology has moved fast. Geo Stelar is 11, skips school, and mourns his missing astronaut father. One night at the observatory his Transer picks up a signal from space, he takes a shock, and wakes up to Omega-Xis, an alien with an electromagnetic wave body. Battles run on Battle Cards, and the collection ships with an optional graphics filter plus both the original soundtrack and a newly arranged battle soundtrack.
Playing together
Online play is the main way a group meets up. You can fight players across the world in each of the seven games through Ranked Matches for the top title, Casual Matches for low-stakes brawls, or Friend Matches for fun among your own group. Trading is on the table as well, so cards can move between players. Cross-platform matches and cross-platform saves are not supported, so everyone in a session needs to be on the same platform.
Settings and extras
The customization menu lets each player tune the experience: autosaving, camera panning speed, boost, screen layout, encounter rate, Mega Buster power, damage reduction, HP recovery after battle, and more. Bonus Cards that were once handed out at real-life events, toys, and other rare chances are included and unlock extra content, though some Bonus Cards are not included. The Grand Gallery holds over one thousand pieces of rare artwork from across the series, including official illustrations, design documents, drafts, and concept art, plus images for every Battle Card and Bonus Card. The music player carries the full original and arranged soundtracks. Note that the toy link features from the original versions are not supported.
