A Slasher Campaign Against the Lizards
LIZARDS MUST DIE 2 is a cooperative slasher action game and a continuation of the first part of the franchise. The lizards have returned to the lands of the Rus with new technologies, and HYPERBOREA is burning while factories pollute Baikal. You play as one of the great Heroes, each with powerful abilities and a distinct style of play. Combat is direct and physical: you fight crowds of lizards with swordplay, headkicks, cannon shots, and unique abilities. The campaign covers a variety of locations, from villages with a Russian spirit to the corrupted lizard lands and ancient Russian settlements, with a story about the war between the Rus and the lizards delivered through humorous dialogue.
Playing Together in Co-op
The game supports online co-op, so you can take on large-scale battles alongside friends. You can fight alone or team up with others in cooperative mode to push back the invaders. Each player picks a Hero, and the different ability sets mean the group can mix play styles during a fight. The lizards attack in numbers and use tactics, so coordinating with your team helps when a crowd closes in or when a cannon needs covering fire.
Before You Start
Expect a third-person action RPG with a medieval setting and an alternate history backdrop. The tone mixes serious conflict with over-the-top humor, including characters like a pumped-up Russian, a fit man, a fat but powerful man, and an old but strong man, plus a bear that teaches you how to fart. The lizards are smarter this time and will try to overwhelm you with both numbers and intelligence, so be ready for fights that demand more than button mashing.
