Keeping the old Lighthouse running
Lighthouse Keeper puts you on a small island with an old Lighthouse that is falling apart. Time wears down its mechanisms, so you need to figure out how each part works and get it running again. Sometimes the fix needs a specific material, sometimes it just needs you to think it through. The island is your home base: repair the farm and grow vegetables, hunt fish or seagulls for food, chop trees, mine minerals, and upgrade your tools as you go. It mixes survival chores with puzzle solving, and the pace stays fairly relaxed while you work through the island's tasks.
Sailing out to the other islands
Your boat is the way forward. Sail from your home island to the others and discover what each one holds, collecting extra resources along the way. There are 11 islands in total to travel through, and each trip brings back materials you can use for crafting and repairs back home. Exploration and gathering feed into each other: what you mine and chop on one island can go toward fixing something on another, so the loop is sail, gather, craft, repair, sail again. Fishing and cooking keep you fed between trips, and inventory and resource management decide how much you can haul back.
Playing together and knowing beforehand
Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join your session and share the trip across the islands. Expect a first-person view with PvE encounters, crafting, and a fair amount of downtime spent gathering and managing what you carry. The game leans casual and relaxing rather than punishing, but you still need to keep food coming in and tools in shape. Before starting, be ready for a mix of hands-on work like chopping, mining, and sailing, plus the slower puzzle side of working out the Lighthouse's mechanisms.
