What LEGO® Party! is
LEGO® Party! is a 4-player party game where you compete across Challenge Zones and 60 minigames drawn from LEGO sets like Pirates, Space and NINJAGO®. The goal is simple: finish with the most Golden Bricks. You can use power-ups to gain an edge and set traps to sabotage opponents along the way. The Challenge Zones are customizable and LEGO themed, and they throw hazards at you such as monsters, traps and flying roast turkeys. Minigames cover a wide range of tasks — racing to make dinner for aliens, running through collapsing tombs, rally races, Rocketball, Kraken Up and Dance Off among them.
Playing together
You can play with up to 4 players, either in couch multiplayer or online. Online play is cross-platform, so friends on different platforms can join the same session. Remote Play Together is supported as well. Beyond the group modes, you can also play solo. Character customization is a big part of the setup: there are over 1 billion minifigure combinations built from iconic LEGO sets, so you can stick with a classic look or assemble something unusual before the party starts. Minifigures are unlocked as you play.
Before you start
Expect a fast-moving rotation of minigames rather than one long campaign, and expect the Challenge Zones to mix scoring with hazards that can undo a lead. Grab a controller, settle the minifigure look you want to show off, and pick whether you are gathering people on the couch or pulling friends in online.
