A Villain's Story in the DC Universe
LEGO® DC Super-Villains is an action-adventure game where you take on the role of a brand-new super-villain of your own creation. The Justice League has vanished, and a group calling themselves the "Justice Syndicate" has stepped in to protect Earth. You and a crew of misfits set out to uncover what these wannabe heroes are really after. Along the way you team up with well-known DC characters like The Joker, Harley Quinn, and others from the Injustice League. The story is built around causing mischief and wreaking havoc rather than saving the day.
Playing Together with Friends
The game supports local co-op and split screen, so two players can share the screen and work through the story side by side. Steam's Remote Play Together feature is also available, which lets a friend join your session over the internet even if they do not own the game. Since you are both villains causing chaos together, the co-op play fits naturally into the mischievous tone of the adventure.
Before You Start
You will design your own super-villain at the beginning, and that character stays with you throughout the game. The world is an open environment set within the DC universe, so there is room to explore between story missions. Expect a mix of action, comedy, and comic-book style humor, along with plenty of collectibles to gather as you play. The tone is family friendly and light on seriousness, so it works well for groups who want a relaxed, funny co-op experience rather than a tense one.
