A social space built around letters
Kind Words 2 is a Massively Multiplayer game where you write to real people. You start in a cozy room and send nice letters to others, then head outside to say hi to your neighbors. There are no followers, no likes and no subscribing here. The focus is on making people feel seen, heard and less alone. Players have written each other over 5 million letters in the series, sharing worries and comforting each other. The game won a BAFTA and is one of the best reviewed games on Steam.
Playing with your group
This is a shared space, so your group can hang out together in the same world. You can tell a neighbor how your day is going, swap recommendations for music and shows, trade life tips and tell stories. There is a poetry slam at the coffee shop where you can dress up, and you can add your dreams to a sky full of wishes. The Steam features list Online Co-op and Online PvP, so there are ways to interact with other players directly.
What to know before starting
Kind Words 2 includes a re-made version of the original Kind Words. Every room has been polished and the UI has been redone for greater accessibility. If you played Kind Words, your old letters and favorites are waiting for you in Kind Words 2. It all runs on one big server, so you can swap letters and stickers with players of either game. The game is tagged as Family Friendly, Casual and Relaxing, with a cartoony, colorful 3D isometric look. It is a place to be yourself without worrying about fitting in.
