Grow a Plant from a Seed

Kasi puts you in charge of a single plant, starting as a seed in the ground. You build branches and leaves to gather sunlight, and roots to dig for water. Keeping those two supplies in balance produces the energy you need to keep growing. The shape is up to you: push straight up for a tall tree, stay low as a hedge, or send vines snaking along branches and across the ground. Regular leaves collect sunlight, while special leaves collect moonlight. Flowers open the door to pollination and fruit.

A Quiet World Around You

The world stays simple while your plant changes. Days turn into nights, and rain falls to give you extra water. Birds land on your branches and move on. The sun and moon travel at different speeds, so eclipses happen now and then, and stars burst to throw extra light across the night. A few creatures settle among your leaves for shelter, and some of them fertilize the plant so growth speeds up. The visuals stay minimalist with only a small amount of flair, which keeps the focus on the plant you are shaping.

What to Know Before Starting

Kasi is a singleplayer game tagged as casual, relaxing, and family friendly, with a sandbox approach to resource management and building. There is no set goal beyond what you want your plant to become, whether that is the tallest, most efficient tree, a vine with many shoots, or just a nice bush. Remote Play Together is available as a Steam feature, so a friend can join your session through that.
