Grow a Garden in a Dead Desert

Wildmender is a desert gardening survival game where you start with a tiny spring and work to turn the surrounding sand into a living, blooming garden. You plant seeds, dig canals to carry water, nurture your plants, and craft tools and structures to shape the land. The world is a vast desert filled with different regions to explore, including dunes, a drained and salted sea, poisoned canyons, and cold mountains. Along the way you forage for seeds and resources, manage your food and water, and uncover the mysteries of a fallen civilization. The land is threatened by life-draining wraiths that seek to corrupt it, and you will need to fight them back while seeking out the gods and rediscovering arcane magic to bring the world back to life.

Play Online With Up to Three Friends

Wildmender supports 1-4 player online co-op, so you can invite up to three friends to your garden. Together you tend the plants, share resources, and survive as a group. You can adventure through the lonely desert as a team and fight the dangerous wraiths side by side. Keep in mind that with more people working the garden, you will also have more mouths to feed, so coordinating food and water matters more as your group grows.

What to Know Before You Start

The world is procedurally generated, so each replay offers a new layout and a different challenge. Plants grow during the day under the sun, while ghosts roam at night, so the day-night cycle affects both your farming and your safety. You can adjust difficulty settings and game modes on the fly, which makes it easier to find a pace that suits your group. There is a lot of room to customize, from over 50 craftable structures and tools to a wide variety of outfits you can weave on a loom, plus dozens of plant species with different cultivars to discover and over 75 unlockable perks and ability upgrades.
