Growing plants with friends

Bunhouse is a relaxed top-down game about running a greenhouse as a bunny. You water plants, give them light, and watch them grow. The main job is balancing water and light for each plant so your leafy buddies stay healthy. There is nothing to fight, no enemies, no quests, and no debt to pay off. It is just plants that need care and a greenhouse full of possibility. You can play alone or with friends, and the whole thing is built around taking a breather in a happy little world.

Playing together on the couch

This is a local co-op game for up to four people on the same computer. Everyone plays as a bunny in the same greenhouse, tending plants and upgrading the space together. Alongside the shared planting work, you can develop the greenhouse itself, which gives the group something to build toward over time.

Getting the controls sorted matters here. You need at least one fewer controller than the number of people playing. Three players means either three controllers, or two controllers plus a keyboard. Two players means one controller and one keyboard is fine. Plan the seating and the hardware before everyone shows up so you can start right away.

Playing over the internet

Bunhouse has no native online multiplayer, so Remote Play Together is the way to play with people who are not in the same room. It works, but the setup has a strict rule: the hosting computer can use a keyboard or controllers, while every other connected computer needs controllers. This comes from how Unreal Engine handles local play and cannot be changed.

What to expect before starting

Expect a slow, gentle pace rather than a game with pressure or competition. Nobody is scored against anyone else, and there is no failure state hanging over the greenhouse. The plant care loop is simple: give each plant the right mix of water and light, and expand the greenhouse as you go. It suits a quiet session where the group wants something low-stress to do together.
