A clone wearing your face

It Has My Face is a first-person horror roguelite from NightByte Games. Your doppelganger hides in a crowd, waiting for a moment when you are exposed. The core loop is simple: scavenge weapons, keep an eye on your limited ammo, and stalk your clone before it gets to you. Miss the kill and you give up the chance to stay in the shadows. Runs are built on procedural generation, so layouts and threats shift each time. Roguelite upgrades let you adapt as the challenges get more complex, and the story unfolds across chapters that reveal new threats along the way.

Playing together

The multiplayer modes support up to eight players, and everyone shares the same face. You can play solo or in teams, and the job is to work out who is who before the round turns against you. The social deduction angle sits on top of the action: you are still scavenging, managing ammo, and taking shots, but now you are doing it while trying to read the other players. New maps, mutators, and monstrous behaviours keep each round from playing out the same way twice.

Before you start

Expect gore and a psychological horror tone, with stealth and shooting both in the mix. The game is tagged as atmospheric and immersive sim, so the tension comes from the environment and the paranoia of not knowing who is real. It is listed as singleplayer in the Steam features alongside Online PvP, so check what modes are available to you before you plan a group session. The full release includes the final two chapters that complete the story, plus the new multiplayer modes, maps, mutators, and behaviours.
