A party game about driving drunk
Intoxicated Driver is a stylized action racer from Game Barrier built around drinking and driving. The goal shifts with the mode: get as drunk as possible while dodging the cops, or take the role of the cop and arrest the other players for breaking the law. Racing is a core mode where drinking is mandatory for every racer, and you compete against friends or the clock. Capture the flag adds a twist: the longer your team holds the opponent's flag, the more drunk you become. Beyond these, the game includes Pedestrians, Little VS Big, Bombs, Deadly Lines, Simon Says, and Hot Potato, with more modes listed as coming.
Playing with your group
The game supports Online Co-op, Online PvP, and Remote Play Together, and there is no cap on party size, so your whole group can join the same lobby. You can also play alone. Modes split players into teams or put everyone against each other, so you can coordinate to grab a flag or turn on your friends in a chase. Character customization and hundreds of car customization combinations let each player show up looking different.
Settings that change the rules
In-game settings let you alter how a round plays: powerups, thick fog, instant kill, and infinite boosts and jumps are among the options listed. These settings are there to change the feel of a session, so you can dial a match toward chaos or keep it closer to a straight race. Check the mode rules before you start, since drinking affects your driving and each mode has its own win condition.
