One hit decides everything

HYPERFIGHT is a 2D fighting game where every hit is lethal. There are no long rounds to grind through: a single clean strike ends the duel, so each match is short and each win matters. The roster holds 7 characters plus 1 unlockable, and every one of them has a unique moveset to learn. The game is built to be easy to pick up and hard to master, which means you can start mashing buttons with a friend right away and still have something to chase later.

Risking points for your big moves

Special and super moves are where matches swing, but you don't get them for free. You have to risk your points to unlock access to them, so every round forces a choice: play safe and hold your lead, or spend what you've earned and try to turn the tide in a heartbeat. That tension sits on top of the lethal-hit rule, and it's what gives the duels their edge.

Playing together

The game supports online multiplayer lobbies with up to 8 players, so a group can gather in one room and take turns stepping into the arena. There's also local versus against other players or CPU opponents, plus Remote Play Together for when you want to play with someone who isn't in the same room. For solo sessions, there's an Arcade Mode, a Training Mode, and a Tutorial to work through.

Before you start

Full controller support is included and controls are rebindable, so set your layout in the tutorial rather than mid-session. Training Mode is the right place to test a character's moveset and see how the point-risking system pays off before taking it into a real match. The game is Free To Play, tagged as retro, anime, parody, colorful and cartoonish, so expect a stylized, arcade-flavored look rather than a serious simulation.
